pH paper is an indicator-treated paper used to quickly test the acidity or alkalinity of a liquid solution. The scale runs from 0 to 14.
A pH of 7 is neutral (pure water).
Acids: A pH below 7 is acidic, turning the paper warm colors like red, orange, or yellow.
Bases (Alkaline): A pH above 7 is basic, turning the paper cool colors like green, blue, or violet.
Testing Method: Dip the strip into the liquid for about half a second, then compare the color change against the reference chart printed on the package.
